tribute to hamboy - 20th May 2008

hamboy - he died last night. not sure exactly 'when' he was gone, but I discovered him at 10:15pm.

he was still ok and running around yesterday and I even fed him some vegetables.

quite sudden, really.. but I somehow knew that this day would come soon, since he has already been with me for slightly more than 2 years.

did notice his recent "slowing" down, and some stupid ants crawling in his cage. I didnt think much of the ants - since there were just 1-2, and I squashed them.

I buried him just at the tree beside my block. He will always be remembered.

thank you hamboy - for all the joy you have brought to me.. the times where I brought you out to piano lesson, for a movie, etc.. sorry for the times when I went overseas and you were at home alone, for the times I didn't make enough time for you, or didn't clean your cage often enough...

know you're in a better place now, love you lots hamboy.. you're the best hamster I ever had.. you're in the hearts of many..
